COMPETITION- WHO IS POKEY JOE?

Pokey Joe's arch rival Squire Bolton was so embarrassed to have lost to Pokey Joe that he demanded that all pictures and photographs of the card master were destroyed.

As most of the cowboys and cowgirls lived on land owned by Squire Bolton, they did not dare to disobey his wishes, and any pictures they had were soon got rid of. So we find ourselves one hundred years later with no record of what Pokey Joe actually looked like.

All this is soon to change in our first exciting Pokey Joe competition.

What we want you to do is send us your designs of what you think Pokey Joe must have looked like. You can really let your imagination go wild. Pokey Joe would have liked that. All the best entries will be put on the website for all to see, and there'll be a prize for the overall winner.

Unfortunately we won't be able to return your entries so make sure you take a copy. Make sure also that you write your name, postal address, and/or email address on the back of your entry so we know how to get hold of you.
